I'd like to say that this is going to be the last time this story comes up, but something tells me that isn't going to be the case. Hopefully, third time's the charm in this case, because it's starting to go from funny to really, really old. Then again, a few more mistakes, a typo in a press release, and a leaked box art later it will likely go back to being funny again. 2K has officially commented on BioShock 2, and stated that it will be losing the Sea of Dreams subtitle for good.

"We name most of our trailers at 2K and the name of the teaser trailer we released last October for BioShock 2 is called 'Sea of Dreams,' 2K spokesman Charlie Sinhaseni told IGN. "There was talk about adding that as an official subtitle, but we decided to simply keep it BioShock 2. We're sorry for the confusion, but we're glad people are so interested."

You're sorry for the confusion? Apology not accepted.

If the game doesn't live up to the hype than this will be seen as the first sign that bad things were coming. If 2K couldn't settle on a name, the game must be going through development hell at this time, with so many hands in the pot it might as well be hand soup.
