BioShock Confirmed for the PlayStation 3
By UK Magazines, So Add Maybe to That
by Coop

After more denials than I can think of an analogy for, BioShock is coming to the PlayStation 3. That is, if UK Magazine PSM3 can be believed. Next month’s cover story has a feature on the title and promises a long preview, filled with screenshots and information on last year’s Game of the Year. CVG has the story this morning, and as of yet there isn’t any official confirmation on the story. I can’t help but think that Take-Two would wait on this announcement and save it for either E3, which is just a few months away, or a bigger news outlet than PSM3.
CVG is further reporting there is another, yet-unmentioned magazine with the same information. You have to wonder what’s the deal? It’s possible that pressure from EA's incredibly overt attempts at merger has caused a mild panic in Take-Two's board to increase shareholder value as quickly as possible. It is common knowledge that Microsoft Game Studios had a large part in the development process of BioShock, so it seems like a slap in the face to the help Microsoft gave them during the development, but there are no alliances in this business when it comes to avoiding EA buyouts.
We will try and get some confirmation from interested parties in the near future, but for now, take this information with at least a little skepticism until Take-Two actually confirms it.
