BioWare's MMO Due in Fiscal 2010
Which Means Actual 2014
by Coop
EA’s John Riccitiello has recently discussed the future of the company, most notably that their first major MMO launch would be occurring in fiscal 2010 (so 2010-2011). To be more specific, they said that they were funding an MMO out of Austin, which just happens to be the location of BioWare, the EA owned company that is developing an MMORPG due out within the next few years.
2010 isn’t really that far away, especially considering a release that soon means they have to at least announce it. Not only that, but some Lucasarts employees let go after the recent firings have confirmed the rumors of the game being a Knights of the Old Republic MMO, which would make it one of the most badass games ever made. Gamervision will be live on the show floor at E3 and prepared for BioWare to announce their plans, so be sure to check back for up-to-the-minute news during the convention.
