Black Friday Watch: Old Navy Gives Lego Rock Band With $20 Purchase
Leggo My Jeans

Anyone who doesn't work retail has a lot to be excited about the day after Thanksgiving. There's sleeping, napping, and, if the mood strikes, massive sales. This year, the name of the game is going to be cheap HD TVs, Blu-Ray Players, and, of course, video games. In a strange move, Old Navy will be joining the likes of GameStop, Best Buy, and Target in cutting the price of electronics, if the scanned advertisement above is to be believed. From BlackFriday.info (my new Firefox home page until December) comes a Lego Rock Band deal: spend $20 on jeans or boats or whatever Old Navy sells and get Harmonix's latest non-Beatles music game for free. Well, besides the amount of money it costs to hire some Seamen to sail your new boat. And a boating license.
This is a great deal, even if you're not interested in playing Rock Band as tiny, plastic performers. You could always trade it in or, better yet, redeem the songs on your hard drive for play in Rock Band 2. And then trade it in. There's using your noggin.
The sale is, as most Black Friday sales are, "while supplies last," which could mean a matter of minutes if enough people know about it. Black Friday is always a double edged sword like that, and sends shoppers running from one store to another, dealing with suspiciously limited quantities and bait-and-swap scams. Even so, a sale is a sale, and if you're in the area there's no reason not to swing in to Old Navy and see if they have enough Lego to go around.
Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to scour the internet to figure out who will be selling me an HD TV on Black Friday.

So... when did Old Navy start selling video games?
this seems so random.
Might be worth dropping by before/after work.
Well I know where I'm going
