Blizzard Asks for Dark Templar Help

Blizzard is in a pickle of sorts. You see, their money-hats have grown so large, bulbous, and heavy, that they’re unable to make choices for themselves. Their heads, bobbing and weaving under the weight of their green crowns, cannot tell the difference between right and wrong, and in their disillusioned state they’ve asked the collective internets for their opinion on the matter of which character model to use for the Dark Templar units in StarCraft II. The Protoss’s Psionic Warrior units, known for their stealth and invisibility skills, are a favorite in the StarCraft community, and instead of risking a nerd riot, Blizzard has offered three options for fans: The Lenassa, The Zer'atai, or both
1. The first option represents the Lenassa tribe of dark templar, which made its debut in the original StarCraft. This unit carries a single warp blade, and a cloth shroud covers its face.

2. The second option represents the Zer'atai tribe of dark templar, who wield dual scythes and wear an ensemble of heavy armor and the bones of slain zerg.
3. The third and final option is to have both tribes represented: When you build a dark templar, either the Lenassa or Zer'atai dark templar would spawn randomly.
I’m throwing my vote in for the third; something about creating twenty identical units has never sat well with me. For more information on exactly what the Dark Templar is, videos of the different contenders in motion, and the official voting form, you can click here to visit Blizzard’s site.

Seriously, who wouldn't pick both.
Sidenote: As someone who doesn't play WoW and hasn't loaded up a Blizzard game in a year or so (D2, a while back), I have to say going to their forums and seeing the animated .gifs of their characters was a shot of pure nostalgia to my heart.

Also I imagine the bright cloak will stand out easily over any terrain types, making it easier to guesstimate your own numbers without having to count hundreds of units.

how about a blending of the two, the head and armor of the first is better because the modeling of its facial crests and mandibles looks too zergian (zergish? zerg-like?). The dual sided weapon is awesome and would look pretty good in the first guy's hands.
Designer opinion:
I just disagree with the character modeling of 2 for the aforementioned reasons.

Yeah, I feel so strongly in favor of the third choice that I think they should have different character models for many of the other races/factions troops as well. Variety is the spice of life, Blizzard. Even if it is just one random thing out of two possible choices...
