Brütal Legend Talent Threatening to Cancel?
Rumor: Another One Bites the Metallic Dust
by Coop

Just a few days ago it was announced that Dio was being replaced with Tim Curry for a role in Brütal Legend. It turned out, as later explained, that it was much less "Behind the Music" and much more "We wanted the guy from Legend," but that doesn't mean the drama is over. Far from it. Just a few hours ago, Tim Schafer "tweeted" the following cryptic statement:
"K, I'm getting on this plane and flying to the UK for one day to meet with someone who's threatening to cancel. Humanity, don't let me down!"
Will the drama that is Tim Schafer never end? Covering the game is awesome, and we at the GV office couldn't be more excited for the rock opera, but we're starting to feel more and more like we work for TMZ, not a gaming site.
But seriously, who could this mystery person be, and why are they "threatening to cancel?" Odds are it's a voice actor, but it's likely not Ozzy, since he lives in the US currently, but there are a few other possibilities. Could it be Lemmy? Likely not, since he's already recorded everything. Lita Ford? She lives in the US, but could be in the UK for... some reason. Tim Curry? It would be very strange, but he could be confused by the internet outrage. Maybe it's a yet-to-be announced star? It could also be a musician who was planning on adding his/her music to the game, or even a programmer, for all we know.
There's literally no limit to who it might be, but the fact that Schafer is ready to jump a few thousand miles to appease them is very interesting. We'll be sure to track this, and continue to do more research to find out who Tim is talking to.
Be sure to check back as VH1ervision's coverage of Brütal Legend continues. Next up, God of Love. Will Kratos find true romance this year?

NNOOOOO!!!!!!
I hope Tim can work this out. I really don't need any more possible reasons to delay this game.
I did notice that tweet, but didn't think much of it... that might be reading a bit too much into things. Or not. Who knows?
