Brighter Minds Files for Chapter 11
World of Goo Publisher Meets Bankruptcy
by Coop

World of Goo publisher Brighter Minds Media has filed for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy, meaning, for lack of a better phrase, they are out of money. They cited no official reason for this filing, though, as said before, lacking funds is a likely culprit, and it's likely related to claims that World of Goo had a 90% piracy rate. If you don't know what a 90% piracy rate means I'll spell it out: you, yes you, downloaded World of Goo illegally.
Shame on you.
Hopefully they are able to get their ass-ets together and reorganize. Oh, and in case your wondering, this doesn't get you out of the woods for not buying World of Goo. If you though this was like owing money to dead guy you're wrong - get out that credit card and buy, this isn't over yet.

Brighter Minds? Publisher. I assumed that Nintendo and Valve published World of Goo, because BM sure as hell isn't mentionned in the credits, last I checked.
you sound mad, coop....was this an awsome game or something?
I hope you're kidding, Ridley, 'cause he isn't. And neither am I. This is the best game I've played in 2008.
I hate piracy... but on a less serious note:
