Bungie Drops ODST Trailer, Screens, Love
Bungie has released a new batch of screenshots and a trailer for Halo 3: ODST. In all honesty, I think I'm more excited for ODST than I Was for Halo 3. I'd always thought the story of the Halo games were nothing to get excited about, since any illusion of narrative was ruined by the dialogue of the Covenant's Grunts (or clown goblins, which they acted like). There was also the awful story telling of Halo 2, something that was barely salvaged in the sequel.
This time around, maybe things will be different. Adding in the voicework of half of the Firefly cast definitely bumps it up a bit. Hell, I'd be willing to drop down $60 to have Nathan Fillion talk to me for an hour. Playing the game? An added bonus.
Some screenshots are below. To check out the full gallery be sure to mosey on over to the game page.

Looks pretty decent. They haven't really failed yet, gameplay-wise, so I have no reason to doubt. But do I want to spend more countless hours being virtual-humped by 12-year-olds? Perhaps.

looks like more halo... which isn't a bad thing... just not seeing much here that stands out other than a few new HUD changes..
