Calling All Cars Servers Shutting Down Early 2010
Hello? Anyone There?

God of War creator David Jaffe's first foray into the current generation of gaming was 2007's Calling All Cars. Since then, he's spent most of his time defending the moderately well received title, yelling at people on NeoGaf, and hyping up projects that have not yet seen the light of day. His mark on this generation, when compared to the last, is negligible. Soon, his footnote on the past four years will be taking a hit, since reports are coming in that Calling All Cars' online servers will be shutting down early next year.
Anyone who boots up the game will be met with the following message:
On January 14, 2010 the servers for Calling All Cars will be taken off-line. We would like to thank ya for yar support.
How long has this message been up? Honestly, it could have been months, since it's obvious very few people still play the action title. As far as I know, this is the first game of the generation to be getting turned off, and it does seem a little early. Sure, it has been three years, but that really isn't too long.
Here's the obligatory, "Hey! Anyone upset by this!" part of the article, but I think asking that is like yelling into a well. There might be someone at the bottom of the well, but he's likely dead, so it's more of a formality.
