Microsoft and Harmonix are feeling in the Christmas spirit this week, and have decided to give Xbox 360 users something to feel jolly about. Starting tomorrow, Christmas Day, there will be five songs available for download at the low price of $0.99, or 80 Microsoft Points. Here is the official bump from Harmonix via their forums.

Harmonix and MTV Games want you to ring in the holiday cheer with a special Rock Band gift. For a limited time, fans and gamers can purchase tracks from platinum-plus-selling rock act 30 Seconds To Mars, pop-punkers All-American Rejects and Swedish new-wavers The Sounds at a special holiday price of $0.99 per song (80 Microsoft Points per track for Xbox 360).

Starting tomorrow, there will be a total of five new songs available.

They are:

"Attack" - 30 Seconds To Mars

"The Kill" - 30 Seconds To Mars

"Dirty Little Secret" - All-American Rejects

 

"Move Along" - All-American Rejects

"Song With A Mission" - The Sounds

 

I’m all over that 30 Seconds to Mars. "The Kill," on top of having one of the best music videos I have ever seen, is a fun song and would be great to sing, and the same goes for "Attack." Check out the videos to see if anything is worth the buy for you.

I know nothing about the other ones, but for 99 cents why not buy in? They will be available for PS3 as well, but not until next week. No word on the pricing for those.
