Steph Laberis, the illustrator that brought Ghostbusters stickers to LittleBigPlanet, posted the above piece of art today. The wonderful illustration an interpretation of Chrono Trigger, a game near and dear to most gamers' hearts. That, alone, isn't entirely worth getting excited about (unless some wallpaper sized versions pop up), but the following cryptic words might be. Steph could be teasing an art book, a poster, or even something much, much bigger.

The commissioned art is part of something. What is that something? "I can't tell you what wonderful project this was done for - yet - but come August 11th, you'll know!"

So there you have it. It might be something huge, but it might also be nothing at all. Like said earlier, it might just be an art book, but that would still be pretty awesome. There's also a 3% chance that it's a new Chrono Trigger. We've contacted Square-Enix for a comment, and will report anything we find.
