So, here’s the deal: Wizards of the Coast gave me a copy of the Knights of the Old Republic Campaign Setting to give away. That’s right; the awesome looking guide I wrote about a few weeks ago can be yours, free. Well, not entirely free…

You see, I am also supposed to review the book, but instead of coming up with my own campaign idea, I want to hear some of your suggestions. In other words:

CONTEST: Write a Star Wars KotOR campaign starter in under 100 words. It should be like the crawl in the beginning of the Star Wars films, starting with “A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away," but that doesn't count against the word limit. Whoever writes up the best campaign starter and posts it as a comment on this Pen and Paper Portal Portal article wins the book. It's that simple. The contest begins today, and will run until September 19th, which is just over two weeks away. I'll post reminders, but get crackin', this campaign isn't going to write itself.

Must be a US resident to enter, and the material and words must be your own. If you want to use images, video, or whatever, that’s fine, but a crappy idea will lose to a good one, even if the crappy one has some nice Final Cut Pro animation going on.
