Dante's Inferno Gets Gamestop Pre-Order Bonus
I Lustfully Envy These
by Coop
Looking forward to Dante's Inferno? I can't blame you, the game looks damn fun, and might be the only risk EA is taking next year. Hell, I'm tempted to buy it just so they continue taking creative risks, since this whole attitude of "we only make sequels to very high profit contributors and high unit sellers" had better stop soon. If you were already considering the game, than Gamestop has found a way to sweeten the deal:
Reserve Dante's Inferno and receive a Dante’s Inferno collectible figurine. Straight from the fires of hell to your bookshelf, this figurine is so detailed you can actually see the shredded remains of Dante's red Snuggie. Available online and in-store while supplies last.
I'm not going to lie - it does, indeed, look like a Snuggie. It's a nice deal: anyone who reserves Dante's Inferno will receive get a collectible figurine. What size is it? We have no idea, but the image above (and below) make it look articulated, so larger would seem more appropriate. At Wizard World in Philadelphia this year, NECA announced figure based on the game's lead. Is this that,or a miniature version? No idea. Pre-orders don't usually come with a full figure, so a miniature (like the one they made for Assassin's Creed, for instance) would make more sense. Then again, that wouldn't be nearly as cool, so hopefully they're going big. We're fairly sure our friends over at NECA will fill us in with a little more information, and we've shot them an e-mail asking for more details.
I was already set on buying this, but depending on the quality of the figure it might push me to pre-order. God knows I love useless plastic stuff that looks awesome on my desk.

Sweet... I had already pre-ordered this, so this is just icing on the damned cake.
