Dead Space Extraction Interview and Footage
First Look Looks Pretty Damn Good
by Coop
IGN has a first look at Dead Space Extraction, showing a good amount of gameplay footage of the Wii First-Person Guided Experience. No, they aren't giving up on calling their on-rails shooter a First-Person Guided Experience. I don't know, just go along with it, hopefully they'll realize that First-Person Guided Experience isn't going to catch on. Just watch the video.
In all honesty, it doesn't look far too different from the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 version at first. Obviously it's less powerful, but it appears to keep the same mood and gore level, despite being on a weaker system. When Dead Space was released, it was obvious EA went the extra mile in creating an extremely interesting atmosphere and backstory, hoping gamers would want more. We did, and here it is, in the bloody, first-persony flesh.
I'm dying to learn more about the game's story without watching the god awful film again, so I'll be there, day one, to pick this up. Anyone else?

Not sure about picking this up, but I'll admit it looks far more interesting than other games in the genre. It's on my "Watched" list.
"Guided first person" = waggle on rails.
Still though, I will most likely get this. I love the world of Dead Space, and will pretty much devour anything with the brand name on it.
