Dead Space Extraction Motion-Plus-less After All?

EA Continues Sending Mixed Signals

by Coop

Like a girl at the other end of the bar, winking at you while rubbing her wedding ring, EA seems to be sending very mixed signals about their upcoming Wii Dead Space title. At first, they promised the game to make use of the Wii's "more accurate motion," and even more recently, it was said that the game would be using the upgrade. Now, rumors are that an EA employee has been quoted as saying that the confirmations are "merely misinterpretation."

It's further explained that, as a light gun game, the IR sensor should suffice, and additional sensitivity just isn't necessary. As someone who has just finished playing through House of the Dead: Overkill I can agree with that statement, but just because it isn't necessary doesn't mean it shouldn't be offered. I'm sure, as a "guided first person experience," the developers have more up their sleeves than a simple light gun title, and anything that improves the controls should be seen as a positive.

We'll be sure to look more in to this, and keep you up to date on all of the Wii Motion Plus and Dead Space Extraction shenanigans that will surely show up in the coming months.

What games have Wii Motion Plus implimented right now? Is it even a real thing? I submit that it is all a hoax. Did I just crack this scandal wide open?
