Deadly Creatures Gets Delayed
Bug Fighter Pushed to 09
by Coop

Another Wii holiday release has taken an expected turn for 2009, as THQ has announced that their anticipated exclusive, Deadly Creatures, has been delayed. For those not familiar with the title, the game puts players in control of either a tarantula or scorpion, fighting against, for lack of a better phrase, deadly creatures, to unearth a wicked plot involving mankind. In other words, "Eww, bugs."
Originally set for an October December release, the game is now tentatively set to launch in February, where it will be just out of reach of the holidays, but still a good distance from any other major Wii releases. It’s looking more and more like anytime is a perfect time to come out with a game on the Wii, because unless Nintendo maliciously decides to release a Mario title on the same day there isn’t really anything to worry about.
Anyone else looking forward to this game? If nothing else, it should be a solid Wii experience. Hopefully it makes it out soon, and it doesn’t get pushed back into a more dangerous or "deadly" time.
