Def Leppard Definitely in Guitar Hero IV

Sugar, and Pouring Thereof, Not Included

by Coop

After some rumblings and rumors last week, it has finally been confirmed that Def Leppard, responsible for such hits as "Pour Some Sugar On Me" (the strip club national anthem) and the entire album Pyromania, will be rockable in the next Guitar Hero title, which is still "unannounced."

It doesn't take too many brain cells to put together that there will be a Guitar Hero IV. While it is inarguable that Rock Band beat the everliving crap out of Guitar Hero in 2007, there is still room in this world for two rocking rhythm series.

According to an interview, which can be located here, guitarist Phil Collen confirmed "Photograph," "Animal" and "Rock of Ages" as playable tracks. Hopefully some of these titles will also find themselves in Rock Band 2 (or whatever they plan on calling it, I am pulling for Rock Bander), as I would love to scream the lyrics to "Rock of Ages" at the next Gamervision Battle of the Rock Bands!
