Defense Grid to Defend Xbox Live Next Month

When I played Defense Grid on the PC I thought it was interesting that some sections of the game actually had assets in place for an Xbox 360 port. Green "A" buttons and red "B" buttons would be at the bottom of some menus, just begging for the game to be brought over to the Xbox Live Arcade. Now, after months of waiting, Hidden Path's tower defense is confirmed for release on consoles, and it's coming sooner than you'd think.
For 800
, console gamers will be able to play one of the best tower defense titles ever released. It's coming on September 2, which means there's little time between now and when the Xbox 360 will get its first game in the genre worth mentioning. Seriously, the PlayStation Network is overflowing with tower defense games, but for some reason developers have ignored the 360 entirely. It's fine, Defense Grid puts just about every other game like it to shame - and I mean it. You'll see soon, and we'll have more on the game near launch.
