The video above shows an interesting Easter Egg in the Force Unleashed demo, the apparent head (or helmet) of Republic Commando's Delta 1138. Commando was one of the most underrated and underplayed of the Star Wars games, so seeing it getting some recognition (even if it is just from Lucasarts) is awesome. I tried to find the area in the demo but ended up playing through it, forgetting what I was doing. I would try again, but I would probably end up using the boxes as ammunition.

I hope this is their way of saying that they will make a new Republic Commando. After Lucasarts went and fired it’s entire staff I’d assume the would need to outsource it to another company, but as long as they throw in four-player cooperative play I’ll definitely be down for some next-generation squad-based combat.
