Deus Ex: Human Revolution Debut Trailer Debuts
Angels and Robots and Pilgrims, Oh My!
by Coop

Last night's Game Developer's Choice Awards ended with a bang. Square-Enix revealed the first trailer for Deus Ex: Human Revolution to the room full of drunken game industry professions, and what it lacks in actual gameplay footage it more than makes up for in gravely voices. And angels. And robots. Take a look at the video, below, I think you'll understand.
It's a light trailer, but it should be enough to get people pretty excited. Deus Ex was one of Eidos' biggest properties, and it's good to see Square-Enix push the development on fairly quickly. It doesn't hurt that SE is one of the world's most acclaimed RPG developers, which should make the FPS/RPG system work better than ever. Hell, I wouldn't be shocked if you had to navigate a sphere grid or shoot up some Materia in the next Deus Ex. Why not? Seems like a grand old time to me, that's for damn sure.
So, what do you think? We expect to hear more in the coming months, so be sure to change back for all of your "god from the" news.

I love the Thomas Eakins look to the beginning.
