If you thought that random, twenty year-old music feuds wouldn't spill into the development of Brütal Legend you couldn't be more wrong. Apparently the game's development, which is attempting to closely replicate an episode of VH1's Behind the Music, has found itself in the middle of the Ozzy Osbourne Ronnie James Dio fight, stemming back to some issues the duo had involving Black Sabbath. Obviously finding themselves on the side of the bigger of the two stars, EA has apparently cut Dio from the game. This comes months after the artist had already recorded all audio for the title, and likely already accepted a nice check.

But even stranger is his replacement? "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" star Tim Curry will apparently be filling in for Dio, recording all of the audio already recorded. It's not a bad choice by any means, but it's a bit sad that the two musicians couldn't come to terms with their problems, at least for the benefit of the game. I mean, there's nothing metal at all about grudges. Nothing metal at all.
