In a conference call earlier in the day, THQ announced a Wii version of their surprisingly fun DS title, Drawn to Life. The DS version had you customizing every aspect of the games, from your protagonist to the clouds in the sky, using the touch screen. Educated guesstimation dictates that the Wii version will not be too far removed, but will hopefully bring the series into 3D. A straight port of the DS version would be a low point in the Wii’s life cycle, falling just below the PSP ports that the system has seen.

THQ has also announced a sequel to Red Faction 2. Red Faction 3 will make the next-gen jump on both the Xbox 360, PC, and PS3, but as of yet no details are known.  Again, my crystal ball lends me a vision of a fairly generic looking shooter with some nice destructible environments. Wait a minute; my crystal ball is just playing Red Faction 2 footage!

Both of these titles will hopefully come out this year, but with the delay racket the industry has going right now there is no telling when they will see their way into reality.
