The constantly delayed and horribly mismanaged Duke Nukem Forever finally has some footage to its name. As teased yesterday, 3D Realms decided after a drunken Christmas party to release a teaser trailer for their game.
I am so damn excited. There isn’t really any reason for my excitement; because the odds of this game ever seeing the light of day are so low it makes me cry at night, but damned if I can’t dream.
I love everything about it. The enemies look cool, the graphics look slick, and Duke looks and sounds fantastic. His ending quote is proof they don’t plan on pulling any punches, and his unchanged appearance reminds me of, well, the nineties.
Let’s “stay tuned,” as the trailer recommends.

I've waited so long for them to release something that Im actually kinda dissappointed with this trailer. it all looks nice but its not enough to get me super pumped. If any game company owes us anything its 3D Realms. Show me some god damned game footage and no more "Stay Tuned" comments. I've been staying tuned for 10 effing years. Its nice to see something from them, but this trailer is lackluster. It actually makes me think they still dont have anything other than a few character models. Until they show me more, they can stay tuned for the 60 bucks they are gonna definately charge me when it comes out in 4 years. This game has been like a bad relationship to me.
This is going to be such an amazing game...IF they actually make it.
