EA's incremental sports upgrades make some people upset. Those people ignore the small changes, the ones you don't notice right away. For instance, the most recent trailer for NHL 10 mentions that the game has over 200 gameplay refinements. TWO HUNDRED. That's a lot of stuff you won't notice! Stick control? Check! Head motions more in line with puck locations? Likely check! SO much has changed in the back end!

What you will notice, however, is the first-person fighting and better play against the boards. The trailer below shows those off, giving off what looks like a much rougher hockey game. Hopefully the first-person fighting plays better than it looks, because it looks a bit lame. My hope is that they asked the team working on Fight Night to do it, creating a really realistic cold Canadian punching simulation. If that isn't metal I don't know what is.
