At first, I really thought that Bioware was going to drop the "Commander Shepard is dead" thing after the initial teaser. I thought it was a joke or something, with them trying to see what the internet would do when they said he had been killed in between games. After they revealed he was alive on the cover of OXM I really thought it was over. Now they release this trailer, which, again, talks about the death of the Spectre. The way I see it, there  are two possibilites:

1. Something in the plot involves Shepard being dead, faking his own death, or being a zombie.
2. They're making fun of the internet. 

No idea which it is. What do you think? The trailer is below, and looks just as good as you think it does. It is Mass Effect 2, after all. It's not like it isn't going to blow all of our socks off.
