On Spike TV's GameTrailers E3 thingy, Tricia Helfer of Battlestar Galactica fame announced she would be voicing Dare, a character in Halo 3: ODST. She couldn't go into details, but Dare sounds like a perfect AI friend to the Nathan Fillion-voiced lead character. Bungie is going for a nerd orgy here, and they're one away from a trifecta.

It has been assumed that the Superintendant (keep it clean!) would be leading the main character around instead of a Cortana-like AI, but with Tricia signing on I wouldn't be shocked to see both. Odds are they won't just take her voice, but her sssssssmoking body as well, if not just as an excuse to ask her to get into the tight motion-capture suit.

"Listen, Tricia, it's really important we get the motion perfect. Now pretend you're riding a bull."
