EA's Sims 3 Leaked?
Rumor: 5 Gig File Has Sims Written ALL Over it

Reports are coming in that EA's summer blockbuster, The Sims 3, has already found its way into the hands of pirates and spilt all over the internet. While it's still a rumor, it's lent credence by the fact that the game has indeed gone gold, which means it's only one slip up away from being cracked. EA also hasn't had the best track record with this sort of thing recently, with Spore leaking several weeks before its release as well.
Oh, and yarrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
A quick check on various Torrent sites has come up empty handed, but that doesn't mean that the game isn't on the cusp of being leaked on a major scale. GamePolitics is reporting that it's been tested and is, indeed, a reality, but we're not ready to call it confirmed just yet. The Sims 2 is still one of the most pirated games on the internet , so it's inevitable that this would happen, I assume that EA was just hoping it would at least be AFTER release.

Ugh, this sucks for EA, they really have no luck with this sort of thing. I'll pay good American dollars for the Sims 3, don't you worry.
I think I'll pick this up as well. Probably not right off... EA's PC division has been prone to making not-games as of late. *cough cough* Spore *cough*
Plenty of people will buy this, no worries. The people who DO know how to steal the game are exactly the people that wouldn't buy it anyone. I doubt a lot of 12-year-olds know how to torrent/crack games.
Then again, I'm not giving much credit to young kids and the fact that they have grown up hand-in-hand with technology.
I'm right there with everyone. Although I'm not a fan of the series, I would pay good money for this. I saw the posting about Demigod being extremely pirated. So I decided to investigate and there were about 15 downloadable torrents for the thing. Outrageous! I was going to buy it, but I'm not so sure of the "Me vs. Everyone Else" thing. The game is only $40, though. SOMEONE CONVINCE ME TO BUY MORE RAM SO I CAN GET A BETTER EXPERIENCE FOR DEMIGOD (for purchase, not download)!!!!
Go to newegg.com, Qmarc, and look at how GD cheap RAM is. Then you will realize you should just pony up the bucks and get some so you can play Demigod.
