Fear not, friends, for the British are still coming, they'll just be a little late. Creative Assembly's Empire: Total War has been pushed back slightly, falling from its February release date to early March, giving the developers a few more weeks to polish up the strategy title. They didn't give an excuse, but we'll forgive 'em.

I'm a huge fan of the Total War series, and with the inclusion of epic naval battles and breathtaking visuals, Empire looks to be the best yet. So far, no games have come close in size or scale to matching Total War, and there's nothing in the near future that looks to have a shot. I have confidence in my gaming rig to handle it, and don't mind waiting the extra month. Anyone else plan on picking it up?
