Fallout 3 DLC Detailed and Dated

As promised at Microsoft's E3 presentation a few months ago, Bethesda has detailed the downloadable content for Fallout 3 on the Xbox 360 and PC. Coming in three, easy to digest chunks, the DLC will be released in the first three months of 2009. Here is their description:
- Operation: Anchorage: Enter a military simulation and fight in one of the greatest battles of the Fallout universe – the liberation of Anchorage, Alaska from its Chinese Communist invaders. An action-packed battle scheduled for release in January.
- The Pitt: Journey to the industrial raider town called The Pitt, located in the remains of Pittsburgh. Choose your side. Scheduled for release in February.
- Broken Steel: Join the ranks of the Brotherhood of Steel and rid the Capital Wasteland of the Enclave remnants once and for all. Continues the adventure past the main quest. Scheduled for release in March.
There’s no price given as of yet, but all of these sound substantial enough to justify picking up. Operation: Anchorage sounds like it should be a combat focused module, likely with a good amount of replayability. The Pitt is also sort of cool, and I hope that it isn’t an instanced area, and instead grows the world map to include part of Pittsburg. Broken Steel, though, sounds the coolest, and I’m interested in how they plan on continuing the story even after the game is over. I've always wanted to join the Brotherhood of Steel, even before I played Fallout.
They have also given some information on the modding tools: the G.E.C.K., or Garden of Eden Creation Kit. Gamers were upset when they didn't release with the game, but Bethesda promises them soon.
“We’ve always seen the original world of Fallout 3 as a foundation for even more content. Some created by us, and a lot more created by users,” said Todd Howard, game director for Fallout 3. “It’s fun to create your own character, but it can be equally fun to create your own adventures. We can’t wait to see what the community does with the G.E.C.K.”
The release of the G.E.C.K. provides the community with tools that will allow players to expand the game any way they wish. Users can create, modify, and edit any data for use with Fallout 3, from building landscapes, towns, and locations to writing dialogue, creating characters, weapons, creatures, and more.
Thanks, jerks, now I need to buy the PC version. We'll have more information on all of this DLC as it arrives. Anyone else excited for more content in Fallout 3? It will be hard to keep me away from it once it launches, unless my 360 RRODs like it did before the Mass Effect DLC hits…

I only want one thing in DLC, a vehicle. Motorcycle, Dune Buggy, Mutant Horse...
Yes, I'm well aware that fast travel negates the need for a vehicle, but I like to explore, and would like to be able to do it more expediently.

The GECK is totally the reason I purchased the PC version. After seeing the amount of mods that were created for Oblivion, I knew F3 was going to get major overhauls by the modding community.
Also, any word on whether the DLC will be free for PC users? The Pitt sounds hot! Let's hope for a pit-fighting arena!
