First Burnout DLC of 2009 Revealed
Are You Ready to Party?
by Coop
Crieterion has been good, nay, amazing, in terms of bringing original DLC to Burnout Paradise. First it was night driving, online challenges, and freaking motorcycles, which nearly doubled the amount of replayability in the game. Next up? Party mode.
For a fee (the first paid DLC for the title), gamers will be able to download Burnout Paradise Party Mode, which is a "pass the controller" version of many of the game's challenges. Up to eight players can input their names and it will randomly select one to complete a stunt, speed, or skill based objective.
The game's lack of single TV co-op took it down a bit on many people's radars, and this inclusion is awesome for them, and anyone else who enjoys the fast-based, destruction themed racing. For more info you can check their website. It's due out in February 2009, anyone else excited?

This is a fun game.
Price would be a factor for me.
Any new cars? New locales? They said something about improving the visuals, hope that's significant. Not a fan at all of the new UI. I'm already unenthused, and then we still have to pay for it. Lovely.
This was a huge part of Burnout 3 for me. One of the few games that my siblings and I all played together. Glad to see they are finally putting it back.
This will be a lot of fun!
