Force Unleashed Trailer Shows Plot
Reminds Me That Star Wars Games Have Plot
by Coop
This may sound strange, but I had all but forgotten that The Force Unleashed was going to have a plot. I know, it sounds strange, but with the first few trailers focusing on euphoria, DMM, and the havok physics engine it was easy to confuse gameplay with story, and this new trailer has awakened me to the fact that it is entirely possible that The Force Unleashed will have a fantastic plot.
The video also reminded me that there needs more decapitation and the like. In Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy you could cut off arms, legs, and just about everything else off of enemies. There wasn't blood, so it kept the Teen rating. If I am able to throw a light saber through an enemy I at least want to see his body cut in half, even if there is just a scorch mark where it seperated.
Random fact: Wikipedia lists Force Unleashed's secret apprentice's name as "Starkiller." I'll give fifty credits to the man that can tell me why that is so interesting...

Original Star Wars script's main protagonist was Luke Starkiller, and was actually titled The Adventures of Starkiller.
Something like that, anyway. I'll look it up after I post this, probably, but I didn't want to cheat. 50 credits?
Oh, and I've said it before, and I'll say it every day until September 16: I need this game NOW.
