Gamestop Exclusive Brütal Legend Guitar Unveiled
Prepared to Rock, Likely Roll as Well
by Coop

As expected, EA is already kicking off promotions for Brütal Legend, announcing a deal with Gamestop to gift an exclusive in-game guitar to anyone who pre-orders the game at the retailer. The image above shows it off, but there's more to this axe than meets the eye. Besides being inspired by Jack Black and Kyle Gass, the Tenacious D guitar will feature sound effects and voice work by the dynamic duo. The details of said voice work isn't given, but hopefully it will be a few hours of the two making guitar sound effects. Fingers crossed.
The full Gamestop rundown is below. Anyone planning on giving this a pre-order? I will - I really don't want Tim Schafer's rock opera falling victim to the issues that befell Psychonauts.
Reserve Brutal Legend and receive a GameStop Exclusive Tenacious D in-game guitar. This amazing piece of badness will feature an entirely new and different suite of effects – not only a unique, sexy body inspired by the members of Tenacious D, but new sound effects, new voice over work from Jack Black and Kyle Gass and a new visual effects suite – trust us, it’s going to rule very, very hard. This epic guitar will also be seen by other players in multiplayer, albeit briefly, as you destroy them with this GameStop Exclusive Guitar. Available for online and in-store customers while supplies last.

COCK ASSSSSS!
What is this game supposed to be about? I'm confused.
I've had this pre-ordered for months, so, yay!
@Mikhailov - I believe no one can accurately answer that.
@Sean - I agree. There's no way that ANYONE can describe this game to someone....but here's a brief low-down on the plot as far as several gamers know.
Jack Black's character is a "rodie" pining to be more. All the sudden he's brought into this alternate universe to where Rock & Roll is actually a way of life, and culture, and is full of mystical beings that have been described in songs and music videos over the years. There are even a tribe of long-haired "head bangers" in the game. They were in the latest trailer, if you didn't check that out yet.
It's true that no one can accurately answer the question. I just tried. Wow!
Anyway, this was already on my list of "Pick this up!" and now there's more incentive other than just having it paid for by the time of release.
