Geometry Wars 2’s Release... Advanced?
Two-Stick-Shooter, One-Week-Early

Geometry Wars 2’s release has been bumped up by one week, from its original date of 8/6 to 7/30, so fans of the shooter can anticipate downloading it next week for 800 Microsoft Points (1000 Wii Points). Sure, the price is double that of the original, but this one includes a hefty number of new features, modes, and even cooperative play. The original was the only game worth owning on the system for a good four months after the Xbox 360’s release, so there is a soft spot in my heart after my failed attempt to eBay mine during Christmas 05’.
Bizzare Creations promises to release more information on the game later today, so check back on this article for any updates!

LOL, I'm sorry Zantagor. You've seriously been waiting for BC for ages. Like... officially the most disappointed person on Earth.
Ya, if it was GRIN/Capcom's fault I wouldn't care... but the game has been sent for approval by microsoft about a month ago already, it was supposed to come out in July, but oddly enough Microsoft has been releasing mostly shovelware on XBLA for the past few weeks. (and 1942 is part of them ;) )

Well ok, all japanese, but I did spot the July 30th release date for Rearmed.... so microsoft better not have shafted rearmed's release by this one(considering Rearmed was initially due out in May)
