Get Battlestar Galactica for Cheapsies
Xbox Live Arcade Game Discounted Tomorrow
by Coop
Tonight, all of the nerds and Assistants (to the) Regional Managers of the world will finally be able to begin watching the first episode of what is said to be the last season of Battlestar Galactica. Odds are most of the fans ignored the ill-received Xbox Live Arcade shooter based on their favorite Sci-Fi program, especially at a price of 800 Microsoft Points (or 1,000 Cubits). The general consensus is that the game is crap and has about as much in common with the television show as the average Battlestar fan has with women.
However, to celebrate what will surely be a confusing and explosive start to the 4th Season of Battlestar Galactica, Sierra has announced that the price of the Xbox Live Arcade title will be cut in half, and for 24 hours gamers will be able to download it for 400 MS points (or 500 Cubits) on Saturday, April 5th.
I will go on the record right now and say that I highly doubt I will download it, even for that few Cubits, but odds are after watching the season premier I will snap and buy it just to get myself to the next week.
Oh, and the fifth? It's Galactica itself. Think about it.

GALACTICA! GALACTICA! GALACTICA!
I'm eagerly waiting for tonight to come so that I can watch one of my favorite shows on television return. I'm wondering, as many others, who the fifth Cylon is going to be.
((THIS IS WHERE YOU TYPE WHO YOU THINK IT IS!!!))
I think there's a slight chance of it actually being Helo. Nothing much to back it up other than some questionable behavior during the second half of last season.
The other promising "toaster" would be Adama himself.
This remake works. I don't think I would be able to watch a different Buck Rogers in the 25th Century or Star Blazers. I watched a majority of the original Galactica series and enjoyed it quite a bit. Television has changed with originality, I agree, but if someone can truly pull off a reinvention of the original I think it's worth the time to watch.
(Don't watch the new Knight Rider. It blows big monkey balls.)
