GTA Chinatown Wars Boxart and Preorder Details
Plans to Take You Down to Chinatown
by Coop

Keeping with the tradition of dripping out details at a painfully slow level, Rockstar has released the box art and some preorder details on Chinatown Wars, the upcoming DS adaptation of everyone's favorite murder simulator. Gamestop preorders will give players $10,000 in-game moneys, which will be great for buying drugs with. I'd complain about that being the best they could do, but I don't know what other rewards deserve to be given for giving money to a company before receiving a product, so I assume being rewarded with fake money is as good of a prize as any.
The boxart looks very stylish, exactly like every other Grand Theft Auto's box art. There are grids, people doing stuff, and a guy with a gun - they aren't pushing any boundaries in terms of innovation on the box-art front. There's no rating or "Nintendo Wifi Connect" logo, so its obvious that it isn't the final-final box art, but it looks as good as could be expected.
It's still looking for a release late in March, so be sure to check back for more coverage of what looks to be a game of the year contender for the DS next year.
