Halo Wars Dated for February
Demo Coming on the 5th
by Coop

CES might not be as videogame centric as PAX or E3, but that doesn’t mean it’s completely without gaming news. Microsoft’s keynote even devoted a few minutes of its extremely expensive time to talk Xbox, and part of that discussion was Halo Wars. The delayed child of what was Ensemble Studios has been given a solid date of February 28th for North America, giving gamers plenty of time to read one or two of the Halo novels in the meantime.
A demo will also be made available in the near future, landing on Xbox Live on February 5th. A free demo for Halo Wars is a great move on Microsoft’s part due to the game’s rocky development cycle. Most of the time, when companies are closed it means that their projects weren’t exactly of high quality, but hopefully we will be able to either confirm of debunk that on the 5th of next month. Be sure to check back for more coverage and impressions of the demo when it arrives.
