Haze for PC Officially Canceled?
Free Radical's Demise Sees Port Shunned
by Coop

Though rumored in the past by Free Radical's insistence that Haze was built as a PlayStation 3 title, it was never fully confirmed that the PC version was an impossibility. Now, after low review scores and a brush with death, it appears the port isn't going to happen. No amount of nectar in the world, it seems, can lead Haze towards a happy ending.
Gamestop has officially removed the listing from its system, and in a recent report has changed the game's status from a 2009 release to "Canceled." While far from perfect, Haze definitely had some high points, and it's a shame that the bail-out by Crytek didn't buy them time to clean up the title for a PC release. Sure, it was torn apart by reviewers, but that doesn't mean the PC audience wouldn't gobble it up.

Haze was not that bad it was just so overhyped and didn't live up to the mega hype.
This was in the canceled SKUs section of the GameStop website a long time ago. Even before Free Radical went under. I just figured it was because it was so terribly reviewed, and as Voyou said, over hyped.
Are you saying that the PC crowd enjoys poorly made games. I've been under the impression that they were in fact, more selective/elitist than their console brethren.
No, Tim. They're implying that the game sucks so hard that it's not even good enough for PC gamers to enjoy. That's all. Take it as a warning not to play the game.
