No reason was given, though it could be assumed the game's realistic (and sexy) seductive content is to blame. So far this year, Darksiders fell under the NMC's strict rulings, prompting EA decide against publishing Dante's Inferno, with similar themes to THQ's adventure title, in the region. This marks Heavy Rain as the third game in the past few months to fail to see a release in the Middle East due to the NMC's inability to let adults make choices for themselves. As game developers continue to push the envelope in terms of visuals, storytelling, and content, expect to see more of this, unless the NMC decides to start treating its adults like adults, instead of acting like they need to shield them from content that they deem "harmful" for whatever reason.

For the rest of the world (by which of course I mean America), expect to see Heavy Rain on store shelves tomorrow. You should pick it up, too, I hear it's a pretty fun game.
