Refusing to be outdone by themselves, the developers of The Conduit have revealed a third title in development for the Wii. This time, it's a four-player cooperative shooter, pitting players against waves of werewolves, vampires, and all other sorts of mythical mayhem. Don't tell High Voltage the Wii is for kids, their next game is called the Grinder, and it looks to bring more mature content to Nintendo's console.

In an IGN interview the team reveals that, as expected, it is indeed inspired by long sessions playing Left4Dead. "...there really isn't that kind of frantic cooperative experience on the Wii right now," chief creative officer Eric Nofsinger says, "There's certainly nothing that takes advantage of the Wii hardware the way we are able to with our engine." He's right, there really is a lack of four player party games on the Wii. I don't know how we missed that.

It certainly sounds very Left4Dead, right down to the four unique characters. There's more information on IGN's site that can be found here, and check back soon for more information on the game. We've contacted High Voltage to see if we can't get an interview together, so stay tuned.
