The demo for the highly anticipated ball rolling simulation Beautiful Katamari is now available on Xbox Live. It features one level and three minutes of rolling to get yourself prepared for its full release this fall. The graphics are nice and slick. The developers decided not to ruin any of the games charm by improving the graphics and instead opted for just making the previous style look as smooth as possible in High-Definition. The game seems changed otherwise – the demo does not give any hints of a plot but I can’t imagine it will be anything less than ridiculous. I imagine something involving rolling balls of people and objects to turn into food for a starving planet…but I have been wrong about these things before. Below is a trailer for the game and while it does not feature any new footage it is still fun to watch, enjoy!
