Kristen Bell Returns in Ass. Creed II

See What I Did There?

by Coop

So Ubisoft sent me a press release talking about Assassin's Creed II, I think. I don't know, it was full of images of Kristen Bell, which is a really good way to lower my productivity to zero. Instead of figuring out what the hell they were talking about, I ended up Googling Kristen Bell for about twenty minutes. When my boss looked over I just yelled "I'm working!" and quickly type in the text in that image up there. In fact, I'm hoping my boss doesn't read this. Just look at the pictures below, they're of that pretty lady.

Look! There's a logo for Assassin's Creed! I told you I was working! There are some screenshots from her in the game below, and a gaggle more on the gallery here. The press release is below, too, so you can read. Or you can look at pictures of Kristen Bell. We'll let you make the call. Either way, we're glad to see her back in the game, and I'll be spending the next few hours looking at the smal writing behind Desmon's head in the images to hope to find some clue as to what the hell is going on in the sequel. I see a map, that's a start. Wait, actually it looks like... erm, I'll let you figure it all out on your own.

ACTRESS KRISTEN BELL TO REPRISE ROLE IN UBISOFT'S ASSASSIN'S CREED® II VIDEO GAME

Sequel to the Fastest-Selling New Video Game IP will Feature Bell's  Likeness and Voice Acting for Lead Character

SAN FRANCISCO – October 1, 2009 – Today Ubisoft announced that Hollywood actress Kristen Bell will reprise her role of Lucy Stillman for Ubisoft's critically acclaimed video game, Assassin's Creed® II. Bell's character will once again play a major role in the game's intricate storyline. In 2007, Bell won "Hottest Newcomer” at the Spike Video Game Awards for her role in the first Assassin's Creed.

"Kristen Bell is a talented actress that brought the depth and emotion necessary for the mysterious role of Lucy for the first Assassin's Creed video game. She breathed life into her character in a way that deepened the gaming experience,” said Patrice Desilets, creative director for Assassin's Creed II. "She did such a fantastic job for this character that, for me, Kristen Bell is Lucy Stillman and no one else can play that role.”

"Being a part of the first Assassin's Creed video game was an amazing experience. Video games is such a creative entertainment medium, and to be able to see and play myself as a video game character was surreal,” said Kristen Bell. "As an actress, it's both challenging and rewarding to play a complex character with this great mysterious background. I'm very happy to be Lucy once more, and I look forward to fans discovering more about her - they will be pleasantly surprised.”

Assassin's Creed II will be available in North America November 17, 2009 for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, PLAYSTATION®3 computer entertainment system, and PC. For more information, please visit http://www.assassinscreed.com.
