I enjoyed Microsoft's Lips more than most men in my position would be willing to admit, but the extremely short track list does little to inspire me to break the game out around people who aren't easily impressed with flashing lights. Thankfully, Microsoft seems ready to push out downloadable tracks for the game on a weekly basis, which should help them compete with Harmonix and Activision's nonstop barrage of music DLC for their titles. Sadly, most of the songs are freaking terrible.

Here you go:

Available on January 16

  • When I Grow Up – The Pussycat Dolls*
  • You’ve Lost That Lovin’ Feelin’ – The Righteous Brothers**
  • Erase/Rewind – The Cardigans*

Available on January 23

  • Hate That I Love You – Rihanna feat. Ne-Yo**
  • Thnks fr th Mmrs – Fall Out Boy*
  • Look What You’ve Done – Jet*

Available on January 30

  • Sunday Morning – Maroon 5*
  • Take A Bow – Rihanna**
  • Water Runs Dry – Boyz II Men*

*songs available for purchase for 160
**songs available for purchase for 180

Aaaaand...yep. I went through and double checked, and this is a pretty weak list. The only song that even remotely caught my eye was Rihanna's Take A Bow just because it was featured in DJ Earworm's United States of Pop, and that's completely unrelated. Have they completely given up on getting men to play this game? I mean, When I Grow Up? Really? Where's the rock? I'm sure it wouldn't be that hard to get Finger 11 on here, or something that actually might be fun to sing for someone with testosterone.
