LittleBigPlanet’s Weekly Release Change
This Time to Fall '08
by Coop

According to the most recent issue of Electronic Gaming Monthly, LittleBigPlanet is not scheduled for release until the fall of 2008. Being the haven of up to date and accurate gaming news it is, we must take everything EGM says seriously. They have never messed up before, and they would absolutely break a story like this in their calendar instead of an article. The release date for LBP has never moved either, so this is shocking news.
This makes sense, seeing as how complex the game’s engine seems to be and how little they have shown of it. I mean, it would be insane to think the game would be delayed if we had seen videos of it in action for the past six months, but as of yet there has been nothing but rumors. With Uncharted: Drakes Fortune selling as well as it did and the amount of exclusives they have released this holiday season, PS3 owners have their hands full of amazing titles. Sony is rolling in the cash from the PS3 software sales as of now, so I don’t see any reason for them not to ride that cash train as far as it takes them.
Heavenly Sword is a long game. Xbox 360s don’t break. The Nintendo Wii has amazing graphics. Ahhhhh!
