Lost Planet Sale on Steam this Weekend

I might spend a large chunk of my time on the Somethingcast talking about how much I hated Lost Planet: Extreme Condition, but that doesn't mean it isn't worth picking up - if the price is right.
Well, this weekend, the price is right, and Steam has dropped the snowy shooter to a measly $5.
With Lost Planet 2 potentially being released this year (consider my breath held), brushing up on your snow piracy isn't the worst idea, though it doesn't appear the sequel is going to rely too heavily on knowledge of the first. There are likely still a few souls wandering around the multiplayer arenas, too, so few will argue the game's worth during this sale.
