Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 2 DLC to Add Psylocke

Elizabeth "Betsy" Braddock Takes the Stage

by Coop

Activision has announced the next character to find her way into Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2. In the near future, Elizabeth "Betsy" Braddock, better known as Psylocke, will join the fight, bringing some purple blades into combat. If you, like me, have no idea who she is, you can check out her Wikipedia page here, like any good journalist.

When I asked resident Marvel expert 00.19 which side of the Civil War the psychic beauty was on, he replied, "She was dead," reminding me why I can't be bothered to keep up with comic book stories anymore. She's back, now, and that's all that matters. Her powers will be a great addition to the already robust cast of MUA2, as seen in the trailer above, and I'm sure there are many people extremely happy by this announcement.

You can check out a few new images of the heroine below, showing off her bad-ass moves and smokin' hot bod. I don't think she's a big enough name to get me to spend more money on the game, but she definitely has the looks to temp me to drop some Microsoft Points. Yeah, that's pathetic, I know.

What's to be confused about? She's a British telepath who had her mind swapped into the body of a Japanese assassin. Then she was killed by Vargas, and was resurrected by her insane brother Jaime. Then, her British body was resurrected under mind control, which somehow also put her Asian body under mind control, but snapped out of it during a fight with Dazzler. Now she's back on the X-Men. DUH!
