Marvel vs. Capcom 2's PSN Release Date Announced
Taking You For a Ride Very Soon
by Coop

As promised, Capcom has announced the release date for the PlayStation 3 version of Marvel vs. Capcom 2. The beloved fighting game will be hitting (and kicking) the PlayStation Network on Thursday, August 13, costing gamers $15.
This is just about two weeks after the game lands on the Xbox Live Arcade on July 29th, but I doubt that will make anyone too upset. They might be getting it later, but PS3 owners will undoubtedly be getting a better D-Pad experience. I think that's a trade-off worth taking, especially in the long run. Then again, the better online experience will be on the 360 version, and the better... ah, forget about it.
So, which version are you picking up? No matter what, this makes your copy of MvC2 for the PlayStation 2 pretty worthless. You might just want to throw it away or something, it's literally useless. You so should have sold it back when you could have gotten $60 for it from that kid you know. You know the guy.

This may mark the first time I download a game for both consoles. So psyched for this.
I only ever get fighting games on my ps3 because of the better dpad. With that said, sooo getting this.
I, too, may have to purchase this on both consoles. But only because I am fucking impatient.
Yeah, PS3 is the way to go for fighting games. I'm in.
