Max Payne Movie Pictures Emerge

Marky Mark Gets Ready for Revenge

by Coop

Max Payne has always held a spot in my heart for having a great plot, with developers that didn’t care about any negativity involving their story. The sequel, The Fall of Max Payne, is subtitled as a “Film Noir Love Story.” They didn’t care that gamers would flip out about “love” being in the title – they did what they wanted and developed a compelling story that was a love story! Shocking!

A movie is being made and seeing as Uwe Boll has nothing to do with it. I have high hopes. Mark Wahlberg is starring as Max Payne and a screensh—erm, image of him has been leaked onto the internet.

He looks, well, like Mark Wahlberg. I don’t know what I expected, but I guess the character is more about the voice and attitude then the looks. If he can do the brooding voice and always have a constipated look on his face I will definitely buy him as Max. The bad news is that the producers are trying to get the movie to achieve a PG-13 rating, which would definitely set it back a bit. The games have always been Mature rated for excessive violence and realistic language, if the movie doesn’t copy that I would be more then a little disappointed.

UPDATE: We now know who will be playing Mona thanks to aintitcool.

And here was my bad joke!
