Might & Magic: Clash of Heroes Coming to PSN, XBLA
Exciting News is Exciting!

One of the best games on the Nintendo DS in 2009 was Might & Magic: Clash of Heroes. You might not have known this, because Ubisoft released the game in December, and few actually paid attention to the fact that it was one of the better puzzle/RPG games in recent years. Fact, not opinion. What's the difference? We agree. Apparently, this important fact has been noted by some people in powerful positions, as developer Capybara has announced that they will be bringing the game to Xbox Live and the PlayStation Network late in the summer. Capybara is best known for Critter Crunch, an iPhone game they essentially remade visually for the PSN. Reportedly, they will be giving Clash of Heroes a similar treatment, giving it a more cartoony look and optimizing it for consoles, instead of merely porting it over.
Beyond the visual upgrade, it will be essentially the same game, save for some gameplay tweaks and enhancements to the multiplayer. Two to four players will be able to play online, giving the already impressive puzzler some decent legs to carry itself on. There's a little more information on IGN, though there's still not much beyond the basics known right now. We hope to have more soon, seeing as anything anyone does to promote Clash of Heroes is a good move in our book. In the meantime, go buy the DS version, it's pretty freaking awesome.
