More Arkham Asylum DLC Coming This Week
Bam! Pow! Strangle!
by Coop

Eidos Interactive simply won't stop. They know we're all in love with Arkham Asylum, and it's even getting Game of the Year buzz, but that's just not enough. After last week's DLC back for the game, they've announced another, and it will be out later this week. They don't want us to play other games, do they?
The first is a FreeFlow Combat map called 'Heart of Darkness,' set in Joseph Conrad's 1902 novel. No, wait, that's not right, it's in Arkham Pumping Station. The Invisible Predator map is called 'Hothouse Prey,' and it set in an abandoned greenhouse. This means you'll see me online for eight hours a day trying to break the top 100, only to be knocked back down within a week. In other words, its more of a reason to play Batman, yay!
The press release is below. I still haven't downloaded the last ones, but if it's free, I can't see a reason why not to pick them up. Unless you're out of hard drive space.

Eidos Interactive today announced the Prey in the Darkness Map Pack, a new downloadable map pack offering two additional Challenge Maps for the critically acclaimed Batman: Arkham Asylum™ action adventure title. In the ‘Heart of Darkness’ FreeFlow™ Combat map, players will battle a mob of relentless and maniacal enemies at the Arkham Pumping Station. In the ‘Hothouse Prey’ Invisible Predator™ map, players will have to rely on their Predator instincts to silently and effectively take down enemies at the Abandoned Glasshouse.
In Batman: Arkham Asylum, developed by Rocksteady Studios and based on DC Comics’s Batman license, the DARK KNIGHT takes on his greatest challenge yet when he becomes trapped with all of his most dangerous villains inside the insane asylum of GOTHAM CITY - ARKHAM ASYLUM! Since its release on August 25th, Batman: Arkham Asylum has garnered the acclaim of gamers and critics alike, achieving an average score of 92 from reviews around the world*, earning it a Guinness World Record for ‘Most Critically Acclaimed Superhero Game Ever.’
