Will actions in Mass Effect 2 reflect how Commander Shepard appears in the game? That seems to be the case, if this new wallpaper from BioWare's website is to be taken literally. To celebrate Halloween, the RPG developer posted the above image, showing off, what they call, "a brand new desktop wallpaper that explores the darker side of Command Shepard." Darket side? More like undead-er side, he barely looks human in this image.

This isn't the Shepard from the original Mass Effect. The guy in that picture has a scarred up face, dead stare, and terminator eyes. If the player's actions do change how the Commander looks, than this player must have him killing strangers and drinking the blood of orphans at a nonstop rate, all the while ignoring the plights of the galaxy. Well, I hope, my guess is that this isn't "mildly irate" Shepard, this is Darth Shepard.

We've shot an e-mail over to BioWare to find out if this is, indeed, the truth, or if they just put a Halloween costume on Shepherd to celebrate the holiday.
